International Education Week (IEW)

The UT Dallas International Center is looking forward to International Education Week (IEW) 2023, November 13 -17! IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.

Universities and institutions nationwide participate in this event to show their local communities all the international opportunities available to them.

UT Dallas is excited to engage our community in this national celebration that links us locally and globally.

All UT Dallas faculty, staff, students, departments and organizations are invited to submit an event proposal for IEW Week. This is your opportunity to share your ideas on how UT Dallas can engage with the world.

Events can be student-focused, employee-focused or community-focused and can feature professional, personal and social development themes toward connecting with the world through international collaboration and exchange. Sessions that share best practices, previous international experiences or opportunities to access international experiences are encouraged. In-person, virtual or hybrid event options are welcome.

The deadline to submit an event proposal is Friday, Oct. 13, 2023.
