Welcome to the International Center!

At The University of Texas at Dallas, global engagement is more than a value—it’s part of who we are. The International Center plays a central role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive global community on campus, supporting students, scholars, and partners from around the world.

With over 8,000 international students and scholars representing more than 100 countries, UT Dallas is a truly global institution. Our International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) helps guide students and scholars through the complexities of immigration and visa processes, while also creating a welcoming and supportive environment to ensure they thrive both academically and personally.

Our Office of International Education connects students with life-changing opportunities abroad. Whether through faculty-led programs, student exchanges, research, internships, or service-learning experiences, we help students explore the world while advancing their academic and professional goals.

Through International Initiatives, we build and sustain dynamic partnerships with universities, research centers, and institutes around the globe. Our international presence includes regional offices such as UTD Asia and UTD Africa, which strengthen collaboration, support recruitment and outreach, and deepen our institutional relationships across continents. These initiatives enrich our campus community and expand access to global learning for all.

As Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Dean of Graduate Education, I am proud to support this work and to champion UT Dallas’s global mission. We invite you to explore all that the International Center has to offer—and to join us in shaping a more connected, informed, and inclusive world.
